You can try a system restore to see if that will help to restore your sound.To choose a System Restore point, From the Desktop click the Start button In the Search Field type “System Restore” and hit enter Once System Restore is open, select the option “choose a different restore point” and hit nextOnce on the next screen, pick a restore point to go back to when it last worked for you. Once you select the restore point, click next, then select finish, this will start the restore process.Otherwise, check the sound troubleshooter.You can also check device manager to see if your sound devices are showing there and if there are any errors.Go to Start button. In the start search dialog box, type in device manager. Then double click on it to open.Scroll to find Sound, video and game controllers.Expand the arrow.Double Click to open your sound device.You can look at the device status.
